Today’s Show Me Your Pedalboard entry comes from Bryan from New York! Bryan’s working with a pretty minimalist board, but hey, sometimes less is more! Let’s take a look:
Bryan’s board starts off into an Electro-Harmonix Micro POG then immediately into a Sansamp Bass Driver. I can’t say I have too much experience with the POG series by EHX, but I know plenty of people that absolutely love these pedals. My usual go-to octave pedal is a BOSS OC-2. The OC-2 fulfills all of my octave needs. (And if you can, always go Japan with BOSS!). Never been big on Sansamp, so I can’t really comment. Bryan’s chain continues into an Old Blood Noise Haunt Fuzz. I love what the guys over at Old Blood Noise Endeavors have been putting out. I recently got my hands on their Procession reverb and their Black Fountain delay and I’m absolutely blown away. You cannot go wrong with these guys, they’re a great boutique company and I’m glad to see musicians showing their support by including them on their boards. Great pick Bryan!
From the Old Blood Noise is an EHX Freeze pedal followed by an Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird. After the Hummingbird the signal finds itself in a TC Electronic Ditto Looper to loop the madness then ends in an Ernie Ball Volume Pedal and out to a TC Electronics Polytune. You want to have the tuner as close to the origin of the signal as possible, things may get lost in transition from pedal to pedal so you want your tuner to be as accurate as possible. You gotta be in tune!
Thanks, Bryan, for sending in your board. If you haven’t sent in your board, what are you waiting for? Email us at email@example.com and your board could be featured here at PedalsAndEffects.com!
