Today’s Show Me Your Pedalboard entry comes from bass player Clarence! This week it’s been all about modest boards. Clarence has the bare necessities on his board as well as some vintage surprises! Let’s take a look:
First up is a Fender PT-100 Stage Tuner. While not as ubiquitous as the BOSS or KORG tuners, all tuners are fundamentally the same. As long as your instrument is in tune it doesn’t matter what fancy tuner you’re using! Up next is an OG Digitech Bass Whammy! These whammy pedals are very rare and highly sought after. The new reissues hold up very well against the vintage models. Check out the PedalsAndEffects review I did with Jonathan Hischke here. After the Bass Whammy is a TC Electronics Corona chorus followed by a vintage BOSS T-Wah! The T-Wah is the precursor to BOSS’ Auto Wah pedal, and was actually one of the first BOSS pedals to have a toggle switch for additional options. It’s comparable to the Electro-Harmonix Q-Tron Envelope Filter. And as always, if you can, always go Japan with BOSS!
Thanks, Clarence, for sending in your board! If you haven’t sent in your board, don’t delay! Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
