Today’s Show Me Your Pedalboard entry comes from David! David’s got a modest board with the bare necessities. Let’s take a look at what David is working with:
There seems to be a trend of boards missing tuners lately, maybe it’s that they’re not featured in the picture for some reason. Regardless, it’s important to stay in tune! You have plenty of inexpensive options too! Whether it’s the Korg Pitchblack or the BOSS TU-3 (updated TU-2), stay in tune!
After what I’m hoping is a tuner David’s chain starts off into a Diamond Bass compressor then into a Cog Effects Knightfall Distortion. I’ve never heard of Cog effects before! They’re a boutique pedal company based out of the UK. In addition to their pedal line, they make custom pedals to suit your individual needs. I gotta check them out! Up next is a Tech 21 Bass Chorus followed by a Pigtronix Echolution 2 Programmable Multi-Tap Modulation Delay. I love the stuff the guys over at Pigtronix put out, I’m a fan of the Echolution 1 but I particularly love the EP2 Envelope Phaser and the Mothership Analog Synthesizer. Check out the PedalsAndEffects review of the Mothership Analog Synth here. David’s signal then ends in a Digitech JamMan Solo looper pedal. Honorable mention to a HPF-Pre Amp clone by 4114 Effects for whenever David wants to bust out a double bass! 4114 Effects has gotten mentioned here before, they’re a very tiny effects company out of the UK that makes custom pedals built to order. They have a great aesthetic and have put out some really cool sounding pedals that are also eye catching!
