Today’s Show Me Your Pedalboard entry comes from Linus, from Sweden! Linus plays post metal and in his words often switches “between a heavy distortion sound and a clean sound with lots of delay and modulation” and his board definitely reflects that! Let’s take a look at what Linus is rocking out with:
Linus’ board starts off into the ever ubiquitous BOSS TU-2 Tuner followed by a Digitech Bass Squeeze. You’d be surprised with the kind of sounds you can get from these Digitech Pedals, the construction varies from pedal to pedal so they might not be as robust as the other but the sounds you can pull from these can really surprise you. There are of course other great compressor pedals like the MXR Dyna comp or (my favorite ever) the BOSS CS-2, but for your money the Digitech isn’t bad at all. Cool pick Linus!

Up next is a JBe Eternity Loop pedal, which is an effects loop pedal. JBe is a small boutique company based out of Sweden. Glad to see that people all over the world are contributing in their own small but meaningful way to the global soundscape. Very cool! Give them a look! Their website isn’t too hard to navigate even if you don’t speak the language. In the FX loop of the pedal is an Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Boy pedal (if it isn’t a big box OG EHX pedal, give Earthquaker Devices or BOSS a go as a delay) and a Line 6 MM4 Modulation Modeler. The MM4 has great chorus, flange and vibrato all in one box! Lastly Linus’ board ends in a JBe Punkster Overdrive pedal, a pedal that Linus says was made especially for him and is his signature pedal. Very very cool!
