We are at the final round of the Battle Of Boutiques! In this segment, we face off MRB Pedals F!, TSVG Babbling Flower and Fuzzrocious Heliotropic! As I stated earlier, all these pedals are boutique builders and some are made by a one man operation in Venezuela, such as MRB or there is a team of builders. Either way, all are boutique and are all very unique in what they offer as a fuzz/distortion box.
The MRB F! from Venezuela does not have a lot of information but you can contact him on his youtube page. Here is what I could find: “Fuzz pedal – Probando el sonido que nos da el Fuzz de F! pasando por el Ampli o directo a la consola, como tambien la mezcla de ambas señales y sus posibles usos” and you can see more on his Facebook page.
Next up is TSVG’S Babbling Flower. The Babbling Flower “was once described as “a superb gizmo for a tonal anarchist’s trick bag.” It produces computer-like fuzz that randomly clips in odd places. Its tone can go from buzzy to barking.”
And finally, to wrap up the Battle of Boutiques, is Fuzzrocious’ Heliotropic. This pedal was designed to get you the sound of the band, Failure’s “Heliotropic” or “Another Space Song”? This pedal will give you the ability to replicate that tone and more. Not only can you achieve that tone, but you can dial in clanky, dirty tones as well as super doomy ones as well. It even slays on guitar!!!”
What I need from fans of this site are your opinions. I need to know what you like, every week after three pedals get played through. I can’t say enough how important it is for me to hear your feedback. Please take the time and rank them as follows:
I am super excited to see what you think of these three, and all of the pedals used in the Battle Of Boutiques!
